These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the compteur+ service, including the configured tablet, the compteur+ application, the client portal, QR codes, statistics, reports and related services.

By using compteur+, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

1. Service

compteur+ provides an in-store social proof solution including a configured tablet, the compteur+ application, the client portal, QR codes, statistics and reports available according to the selected plan.

2. Rental Model

The tablet remains the property of compteur+. The client receives a right to use it during the active subscription or paid service period.

3. Payment and Activation

Fees for the selected plan, activation fees and applicable taxes are payable according to the terms displayed at checkout. Activation covers preparation, configuration and setup of the tablet.

4. Paid Periods

Monthly, 6-month and 12-month periods are billed according to the selected plan. The service period begins upon tablet activation or 7 days after delivery, whichever comes first. Amounts already paid are generally non-refundable, except where required by law.

5. Renewal and Cancellation

The client may request cancellation of the service to avoid future renewals or future payments. Cancellation does not automatically remove amounts already due or already paid, except where required by law.

6. Return, Loss or Damage

At the end of the service, the tablet must be returned according to compteur+ instructions. Fees of up to $399 may apply in case of loss, damage, non-return or misuse of the tablet.

7. Internet and Location

A stable Internet connection and continuous power are required. compteur+ is not responsible for interruptions caused by Wi-Fi, power, physical placement or business settings.

8. External Platforms

compteur+ may direct customers to external platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Google, LinkedIn or YouTube. These platforms are operated by third parties and may change their rules, links or features.

9. Results

compteur+ helps generate engagement, visits and social growth, but does not guarantee a specific number of scans, followers, reviews, sales or business results.

10. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, compteur+ liability is limited to the amounts paid by the client for the service during the previous three months.

11. Changes

compteur+ may update its features, portal, reports or terms to improve the service. Important changes will be communicated when required.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the applicable laws of Québec and Canada.
